Priyanka Chopra endorses Rajnigandha Silver Pearls


Bollyood’s ‘desi girl’ Priyanka Chopra’s new product endorsement carries the message of spreading goodness through small gestures.

According to media reports, Priyanka’s talent and popularity has earned her a new endorsement. She has been named the brand ambassador of Rajnigandha Silver Pearls — saffron blended, silver coated cardamom seeds from the house of DS Group.

The company said Priyanka would feature in the new television commercial announcing the launch of saffron blended, silver coated cardamom seeds.

The ad depicts the small acts of goodness that people take up in spite of a hectic day-to-day life with the slogan “Achai ki ek alag hi chamak hoti hai”. The new catch-line re-emphasizes the brand’s belief that real goodness always shines through in our words and deeds, read a statement.

And Priyanka agrees with this belief, too.

“There is an innate goodness in all of us and I think in today’s time its hugely important to spread as much love and positivity as possible. I am delighted to have been chosen as the brand ambassador of Rajnigandha Silver Pearls,” the 31-year-old actress was quoted by a daily.

Priyanka, while talking about the product, said, “It not only delicious and refreshing, but also a brand that promotes such positive messages, which is something the world really needs.”

The report also said, the National award winning actress, who turned singer with international singles such as ‘Exotic’ and ‘In my city’, was chosen to represent the product ‘as she is an epitome of a global achiever and at the same time a grounded and humble person who is always ready to give time and effort for a good cause’.

The commercial has been created by Dentsu Marcom, which tells the story of a successful film star, who has a huge fan following because of her inherent goodness. It also portrays scenes that show a few acts of goodness.

Priyanka is often heard speaking on women’s issues raising her voice against female infanticide and foeticide and in support of education for girls.

In 2010, she was one of the celebrities who created promotional messages for Pearls Wave Trust, which spreads awareness against violence and abuse of women and girls. The former Miss World also appeared at the launch of a campaign called ‘Save Girl Child’ that intends to change the attitudes of Indians towards girls.
