Priyanka Chopra gets 'Fashion' climax changed

Priyanka Chopra has been working really hard on Madhur Bhandarkar's film 'Fashion'. She has lost a lot of weight to resemble an anorexic model. However in the end it seems like Priyanka is having the final say. Priyanka was not very comfortable with the original end of the film which depicted her getting pregnant, hence she coerced director Madhur to give into her demands and finally change the climax of the film. 

Director Madhur Bhandarkar is known to make films that are very close to real life and he does not like to compromise on any aspect. However this time round the director had to relent and give in to his actress's demands. After writing the script of the film, Madhur Bhandarkar was keen to rope in a big actress for the film. He had even considered Bipasha and Kareena; however things did not work out. Madhur then approached Priyanka Chopra to play the role of a model in his film 'Fashion'. Priyanka was however apprehensive to give her nod to the film as she was not comfortable with the ending. Sources claim "The original end of the film had Priyanka becoming pregnant. The script had the actress playing a girl who has many men in her life and is unperturbed about her pregnancy even though she is unmarried. However Priyanka found that idea too bold and told Madhur that it might go against her image." Hence now sources claim that the end has been changed and mellowed down according to Priyanka's say.  

Meanwhile though sources refuse to go on record stating that the end was changed to suit Priyanka's sensibilities. However Ajay Monga who is one of the writers of the script said "I am not supposed to talk on this matter, I hope you understand." Ironically Priyanka's film career took off after her film Aitraaz where she was seen playing the bold sexy other woman. She received a lot of praise for the role in Aitraaz and it gave her flagging film career a boost. So let's hope that 'Fashion' too will add some spice to her film career.
