Priyanka Chopra down with cold
Our very own desi girl Priyanka Chopra is well known for her commitment to her job. She is at once doing the multiple tasks of a busy international singer, Bollywood actress and a film producer. She tries to excel in whatever she does and gives her full focus to the job at hand. This might as well be her secret to success.
At present the diva is completely occupied with the promotion of her upcoming film ‘Mary Kom’. Also the shooting for her next flick ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ is at full swing. This is keeping the actress so busy that her hands are full. So much so that she is even unable to take a break from work even though she is suffering from cold.
Priyanka is very much active in the micro blogging site, Twitter. She recently tweeted about her condition as, "Cough cough... sneeze sneeze... Dance dance... nerves nerves... Grrrr #MaryKom #DilDhadakneDo." This pretty well describes the condition of the diva. We sure hope that she gets well soon.
At present Piggy Chops is in New Delhi to promote the film ‘Mary Kom’. It is a biopic on the five times boxing world champion M C Mary Kom. Mary hails from Manipur and represents India in the global sporting events. She even won a bronze medal in the 2012 London Olympics. Priyanka portrays the life of Mary on silver screen. The story of Mary celebrates the triumph of indomitable spirit against all odds.
India is a country where only a handful of men could win a medal in Olympics, in the solo event. Mary being a woman achieved this feast. In the traditional Indian mindset boxing is not considered sports fit for women, but Mary embraced it and rose to be the world champion. Also she hailed from one of the backward areas of the country, but still went on to attain international recognition. She is a living legend and rightfully nick named as ‘Magnificent Mary’.
Priyanka met the union minister Nitin Gadkari during her stay at Delhi. It is known that she has urged the minister to announce the film ‘Mary Kom’ as tax free in New Delhi. Incidentally states of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh have already given the film a tax free status.
It seems ‘Mary Kom’ is going to be the next big hit of the
year. Be prepared to watch a true story that reads like an impossible Bollywood
masala film. Truth is always stranger than fiction.
