Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar have had amazing on-screen chemistry. They have worked together in quite a few films. However after rumours of their link up started spreading, the two have not been seen in any film together. But now Akshay is once again keen to work with Priyanka for Shree Ashtavinayak's film titled Blue.
Blue will be produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision and will star Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt together for the first time. Akshay has also recommended Priyanka Chopra's name as one of the leading ladies. It has been reported that Lara Dutta will enact the role of the other female lead. Priyanka and Lara began their film careers together in the film Andaaz opposite Akshay Kumar. So no doubt it will be like a homecoming for Akshay, Priyanka and Lara who will once again be seen together in Blue. A source adds "Akshay wanted someone who’s athletic and can do action scenes well for Blue and Priyanka has proved that she can do that. If everything works out well, the pairing will be Sanju-Lara and Akshay-Priyanka."
Akshay and Priyanka have always shared sizzling on-screen chemistry and the audiences too have appreciated their on-screen pairing. But along with appreciation, there have also been rumours of a link-up between the two of them. There was a buzz that Akki's wife Twinkle Khanna was not too happy with their pairing and that she had given him an ultimatum to stop working with Priyanka. However now it seems like things have settled down and Akki is keen to recreate his on-screen magic with Priyanka in Blue. Priyanka and Akshay were last seen together in Waqt in 2005. There was also talk that when Priyanka and Lara had worked together in Andaaz, they had not got along quite well and hence they would not work together. But it seems like everyone has buried the past and moved on and even Lara and Priyanka are ready to work together. However Shree Ashtavinayak refused to confirm any of the actors just yet.
