Priyanka dances with Arjun, Ranveer on 'India's Got Talent'
The lead trio of the upcoming Yash Raj Films film ‘Gunday’- Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor were present on the sets of the TV reality show, ‘India’s Got Talent’ Season 5 at FilmCity in Mumbai on Saturday, January 25th, 2014 to promote their film. It was a fun filled event where the three actors kept everyone busy with their performances and antics. The stars even gave impromptu performances with the three celebrity judges – Kirron Kher, Malaika Arora Khan and Karan Johar in tow.
On the sets, the cast of the film narrated experiences during shooting and described their film ‘Gunday’. Priyanka was a sport when it came to performing as she spontaneously got on stage to perform when Malaika asked her to show some desi moves. Ranveer and Arjun kept everyone in splits with their on stage antics and unending pranks. In fact, the two actors, Ranveer and Arjun, who have bonded well in the film and during their promotional events, did not hesitate to pull Priyanka’s leg at every chance they got.
Attire wise, Priyanka wore a thigh high open slit long cream coloured skirt matched well with a black top and black stilettos. In fact, she gave stif competition to Malaika who was dressed in a pink and orange saree ensemble. But what stole the show was Kirron Kher’s graceful style matched with trademark kundan jewellery. Karan, Ranveer and Arjun were dressed up in sophisticated suits with Ranveer adding some quirk in his style with a ponytail.
For Ranveer, Arjun and Karan, it was not the first time they were together as they have been together in Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show, Koffee with Karan where they gave a hilarious show with their antics and their bromance.
The cast of the film were thrilled o be on the show as they were stunned by the wonderful performances by the participants. They also took to shaking a leg with a few participants and had a gala time with them as well as the judges.
The film ‘Gunday’ revolves around two bosom friends, Bikram and Bala who start from petty coal thieves and goons to heading the coal mafia in the unsettled times of Kolkata during formation of Bangladesh. They are widely revered in the city and are referred to as Gunday by all and sundry. Priyanka Chopra plays a cabaret dancer, Nandita, also their joint love interest.
