Preity Zinta and co-star Shiney Ahuja share cold vibes

Preity Zinta is working opposite Shiney Ahuja in Jahnu Barua's film 'Har Pal'. The shooting for the film has already begun, but it seems like the two lead actors, Preity and Shiney have been having problems and don’t get along well with each other. Preity is in fact quite exasperated with Shiney' behaviour on the sets. 

Preity Zinta is no doubt excited about her role in 'Har Pal' as she will be seen playing a deglamourised and different role in the film. However although she is excited about the film, she is not too excited about working with her co-star Shiney Ahuja. Preity and Shiney don't seem to be getting along well on the sets while shooting for the film. At first Preity and Shiney were merely cordial with each other, but later things took a turn during the second schedule of shooting. The source of discontent between the two is their different styles of working. A source claims "Shiney believes in doing a lot of retakes, while Preity believes in giving her best in her first shot.  Also she’s quite punctual and doesn’t like waiting for her co-stars once she is ready. Shiney on the other hand, arrives later and then spends long hours reading his lines and getting in the right frame of mind. Their styles of working are diametrically opposite.” And this is one of the main reasons why Preity is annoyed with Shiney.  

However a recent incident has further caused a rift between Shiney and Preity. The two actors were shooting a dramatic and sensitive scene for the film where Shiny had to hug Preity. When the shot was being taken, Shiney had got into the character so much that he hugged Preity really hard till she cried out "Will you squeeze the life out of me?" Preity was really irritated with Shiney after that and stayed away from him. Shiney on the other hand did try to clear things out and talk with Preity, but she just wasn't interested. And now things have become quite hostile on the sets as it is always quite a tense situation when the two actors come together even for a shot. After the shot, Preity simply goes off to her vanity van and does not interact with Shiney. Apparently even Kangana Ranaut who has worked with Shiney in two films did not get along well with him while shooting. So is Shiney rubbing his leading ladies the wrong way or is it simply his working style that irritates them?
