Preity is not pretty happy with her team's performance in Mohali. She prayed a lot for her team but her prayers failed to bring fruitful results for her Punjab Kings and had to see the face of defeat. She had pinned high hopes for her Punjab Kings but they spilled water on her hopes.
Michael Hussey of Chennai Super Kings was the man who striked fours and sixes in every round of the stadium and kept on adding runs to the score board for his team and simultaneously made things tough for the Mohali team. He cracked the fastest hundred in Twenty20 history and remained unbeaten till the end. He contributed 116 runs of just 54 balls. The target of 240 was beyond the reach of Punjab Kings and they fell short of 33 runs. Chennai Super Kings were crowned victorious in their first match.
Preity and Ness may be upset with their team's defeat but the match was a pura paisa wasool for the crowd as they got to witness a spectacular innings. But it is only the beginning and more games, more entertainment and more twists and turns will be seen in the coming matches. So, Preity should not be disheartened.
