Recently Taran Adarsh released the poster of the upcoming romantic comedy movie ‘Bewakoofiyaan’ on the social networking website Twitter. The poster shows the actors Ayushmann Khurrana, pretty and all smiles Sonam Kapoor along with a stern looking Rishi Kapoor.

The fashion icon Sonam Kapoor plays the love interest of the hero Ayushmann Khurrana in the flick while Rishi Kapoor dons the role of Sonam’s strict father. This is a fresh new onscreen pairing. It seems Bollywood is high on confidence after its success with the recent trend of creating new pairs. Sonam and Ayushmann look good too as pair. The fashion conscious diva Sonam Kapoor’s next film is ‘Bewakoofiyaan’ after her huge success of ‘Raanjhanaa’. She paired opposite Dhanush for the first time in the film ‘Raanjhanaa’. Expectations are high from her in her next film ‘Bewakoofiyaan’. Not to be left behind, Ayushmann Khurrana of the ‘Vicky Donor’ fame has proved his forte in acting, specially comedy. Therefore the casting holds the promise of delivering a memorable rom-com to the Hindi movie goers.

Habib Faisal has written the story of the movie and it is directed by Nupur Asthana. The music director Raghu Dixit has done a decent job with the songs of the music. The movie ‘Bewakoofiyaan’ is produced by Aditya Chopra of the famed Yash Raj Films. The theatrical trailers of the film is all set to release tentatively sometime around 10th February 2014 and the movie is all set to release on 14th March 2014. The planning for the film started way back in 2012 as it was announced in December of 2012 and the shooting for the flick commenced from February 2013. The film is shot mostly in Gurgaon and Delhi as these locations are the backdrop of the story.

The character of Ayushmann Khurrana in the film is called Mohit Chadhdha and he is a marketing executive, whereas Sonam Kapoor is called Mayera Sehgal and she is a financial person with an eye for shoes. Both are madly in love with each other and believe that they can live on love. However, Mayera’s father, played by Rishi Kapoor begs to differ and he believes that only money can bring her daughter happiness. He disapproves of Mohit and wishes for a rich man for his daughter.

The flick tries to tell the story of fragile relations in the era of consumerism and whether love can survive at the time of economic recession.
