Post divorce, Karisma Kapoor eager to return to movies

Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor, whose divorce with businessman Sunjay Kapur came through recently after a murky court battle, is reportedly eying to make a comeback to the film industry. The actress who turned 42 on Saturday, June 25, was last seen in 2012 film ‘Dangerous Ishhq’.

According to a report in SpotboyE, Karisma has been lending ears to quite a few story narrations, including one assigning her a strong role as a sports coach. However, she has not accepted the part as she feels that the movie project doesn't have a strong commercial set-up as most of the cast comprises of newcomers.

Karisma’s official comeback film ‘Dangerous Ishhq’ was made after she moved out of her ex-husband’s house in Delhi to her mother former actress Babita’s home in Mumbai. However, the film failed to make a mark at the box office. As such, Karisma seems to be extra cautious this time at choosing her next assignment.

Meanwhile, the report stated that Shilpa Shetty might be approached for the role.

Now that Karisma and Sunjay’s divorce has been settled and financial and custody matters sorted, the ‘Raja Hindustani’ actress is eager to return to movies. Karisma and Sunjay have two children - daughter Samaira and son Kiaan Raj.

Post her divorce, Karisma has taken a break and is holidaying in the Alps. She has also shared a picture of her chilling amidst the spectacular mountains. “#mountainvibes#thealps#stunning#summertime2016,” she captioned the photograph on Instagram.
