Pooja Bhatt is ready to act again

Director and actress Pooja Bhatt has expressed her desire to act in films again. She is ready with her next directional debut Kajra Re starring Himesh Reshammiya in the lead role. Speaking to reporters at South Asian Film Festival (SAFF) in Panaji, Pooja has declared that she is open to acting if suitable offers come her way. 

"Producers feel that since I have taken up filmmaking as an alternate profession, I have given up acting. But, it is not so. I am still open to good offers. But, I will not like to direct myself in my own film," said Pooja Bhatt. She was last seen in Zakhm. Pooja’s next directional venture Kajra Re speaks about an Indian rock actor who meets a Pakistani girl from a red light area in Dubai.

Pooja is directing Himesh and she is totally impressed with his acting capability. She gushes, "Himesh Reshamiya in the role of a rock star looks unbelievable. His transition from a playback singer-music composer to an actor has been smooth." She further says, "The film primarily dwells on the theme that where there is love, there is no fear."
