Pics: Aamir Khan’s rapper look in ‘Dangal’ promotional song
Aamir Khan, who was said to be singing a rap for his upcoming film ‘Dangal’ was spotted shooting for the promotional song at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios on Thursday (July 21). The pictures from the sets reveal the actors look as a rapper.
Aamir is seen dressed in black paired a long sleeveless grey jacket open at the front, and bling boots. His eyes are lined with khol and has rings on his fingers and pierced ears.
The promotional song will have Aamir rapping a peppy track and will introduce debutantes Fatima Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, who play is screen daughters in ‘Dangal’. The song has been composed by Pritam Chakraborty and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
The 50-year-old has also previously lent his vocals to the chartbuster ‘Aati Kya Khandala’ in 1998 film ‘Ghulam’. Later, he also mouthed a few verses in ‘Is Deewane Ladke Ko’ from ‘Sarfarosh’ and ‘Mere Haath Mein’ from ‘Fanaa’.
‘Dangal’ is a biopic on Haryanvi wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who also coached his daughters Geeta and Babita, women wrestlers of India. Aamir will enact the role of the wrestler, while Sakshi Tanwar will play his on-screen wife. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Dangal’ is slated to hit theatres on December 23.
