Parineeti Chopra opens up on her relationship with Maneesh Sharma
Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, who made her debut with ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ has been linked with director Maneesh Sharma ever since she stepped into the film industry. However, these rumours no longer bother the ‘Ishaqzaade’ girl.
The actress said that she counts Maneesh, who directed her in her debut film ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ and ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, as a very good friend. “I think there has been one consistent rumour with Maneesh. He and I are very good friends and we have spoken about it many times. We are now over it,” Parineeti said in an interview with Hindustan Times.
Parineeti said that she is a private person and has always been tight-lipped about her personal life and she preferred to keep it like that. The 27-year-old actress added that she doesn’t like it when the media puts too much attention to her personal life. She prefers not to answer whenever she is quizzed regarding her personal life.
“When it comes to my love life, I am a private person. There are just two or three people in my life who know about it. Somehow, my romantic life has always been just mine. I don’t want to change that,” Parineeti told the daily.
The actress, however, said that she will definitely let her fans know when someone special enters her life. “The day I can talk about someone special in my life, I will happily announce it…I think my love life is too boring and no one wants to write about it,” she said.
Parineeti, who is now flaunting her hot and sexy avatar, recently dubbed for the Hindi version of Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg’s ‘The BFG’, along with Amitabh Bachchan. She lent her voice for the 12-year-old girl Sophie, while Big B dubbed for the giant.
The actress who did a cameo in John Abraham and Varun Dhawan starrer ‘Dishoom’ will be next seen in ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. She will be seen in the role of an aspiring singer and also make her singing debut with the film being directed by Akshay Roy and produced by Maneesh Sharma under Yash Raj Films banner.
Parineeti has also been roped in for Homi Adjania’s next film titled ‘Takadum’, which will see her team up with her ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ co-star Sushant Singh Rajput.
