Parineeti, Alia bond on the black couch of 'Koffee With Karan'
The current season of ‘Koffee With Karan’ which kick started in December last year is sure on its way to become more juicier and spicier. This season Karan invited some odd and never seen before pairs on his show like Salman and his father Salim Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan and so on. It of course made his show more interesting.
The one pair which is sure going to make tremendous sparks on the show is Parineeti Chopra and her rival actress Alia Bhatt. The two are contemporary actresses and are also rivals. While Parineeti debuted with ‘Ladies Vs. Vicky Behl’, Alia debuted with ‘Student Of The Year’. The two actresses see each other as competitors and also do not gel well.
However the two actresses claim that they purposefully came together on the show as they wanted to do away with the rumor of their cat fight.
25 years old Parineeti Chopra, who is promoting her upcoming movie ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, said at a press meet, “We actually went on the show to tell everyone that there is no problem between us. She (Alia) has been my friend even before (her) 'Student of the Year' released and nothing has changed between us.”
Well, Alia has already come once on ‘Coffee With Karan’ with her ‘Student Of The Year’ costars Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra. While interacting then, she had advised Parineeti to take a few dressing tips.
When Parineeti was asked about the same, she said that it was a genuine advice from a friend. Parineeti said, “She had genuinely like a friend said that Parineeti should be careful about her dressing style. We wanted to tell everyone there is no problem between us and that's why we went on that couch.”
However, on the celebrity chat show, in a rapid fire round, when Karan asked Alia whom she wanted to gift the style for dummies book to, Alia was quick to take Parineeti’s name. Alia had earlier spoken on the show that she was insecure of Parineeti because of her strong command over the language and her acting which comes effortlessly.
Parineeti agrees that there is rivalry in industry as she says, “There is no denying the fact that insecurities exist for actors too. Everybody in the industry works hard, but you have to understand that as actors, our careers are not in our hands. We depend entirely on the acceptance by the viewers.”
Well. Only the upcoming episode can tell if viewers will see fireworks between the two hot Bollywood actresses.
