Nandita Das is pregnant

Bollywood actress Nandita Das is spotted with a baby bump at the Summer Bonanza of children's films held at the NCPA on Monday. She is the chairperson of the Children's Film Society of India. Nandita shifted her base from Delhi to Mumbai after getting married to Mumbai industrialist Subodh Maskara in Januaray 2010. Dressed in a simple salwar kameez, Nandita Das attended the screening of cinematographer and filmmaker Santosh Sivan’s children film Halo.
As Nandita stepped in, she tried to hide her baby bump which was quite revealing. She was overheard saying that on-screen, she has played a pregnant woman couple of times. “I have delivered babies on screen before. But when I go through it for real, I wonder how different it will be from what is portrayed on-screen,” she said. In a lighter vein, Santosh said, “Not too different. Only the background music will be missing.”
In 2002, Nandita married to her boyfriend Saumya Sen but was divorced in 2009. In 2010, she married to Mumbai industrialist Subodh Maskara. She is best known for her role in Fire, Earth, Bawandar.
