‘Mohenjo Daro’: Hrithik Roshan woos Pooja Hegde in ‘Tu Hai’ song
Hrithik Roshan starrer film ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. The actor, who will be seen on the big screen after a gap of almost two years, will be romancing newbie Pooja Hegde in the movie.
Set in the pre-historic era of the Indus Valley Civilization, the movie is gearing up for release next month ahead of the Independence Day. In the meantime, the makers are boosting the anticipation level by releasing the trailer and the songs.
The video of the song ‘Tu Hai’ sung by A.R. Rahman and Sanah Moidutty, was released a few days ago. The song features Hrithik, who plays Sarman in the movie, wooing Pooja’s character Channi who apparently belongs to a royal family. From the video, it seems that some sort of ritual is going on around a pond lit with numerous lamps. Hrithik is seen stealthily joining the dancers to serenade his on-screen lover. Pooja looks pretty in the white dress and floral headgear. The chemistry between the lead actors in the song is also beautiful.
Other important characters of the movie – Kabir Bedi, Suhasini Mulay and Manish Chaudhary are also seen in the video among the people who have gathered for the ritual.
‘Mohenjo Daro’ is an epic adventure love story written and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. It is Hrithik’s second collaboration with the National Award winning filmmaker after 2008 film ‘Jodha Akbar’. Two times Oscar winning music maestro A R Rahman has also associated with the director for the fourth time. He had previously composed for Gowariker’s films ‘Lagaan’, ‘Swades’ and ‘Jodha Akbar’.
‘Mohenjo Daro’ is slated to hit theatres on August 12.
