‘Mohenjo Daro’ actress Pooja Hegde down with dengue


Pooja Hegde, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’ will miss out the film’s promotion. The actress has been diagnosed with dengue and she was advised rest. Now Hrithik Roshan and Ashutosh Gowarikers have to move forward with the film’s promotion.

Pooja was not keeping well for some days. When few tests were carried out, he was diagnosed with dengue. She is under medication and therefore had to back out of all the promotional events and photo shoots. The team of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ has been quite understanding and asked her to return to work only after she recovers completely.

‘Mohenjo Daro’ directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar of ‘Jodhaa Akhar’ fame will explore the life and times of people in the Indus Valley civilisation during 2600 BC.

Speaking about the film, Hrithik once said in an interview. "I am travelling back into time and it's been a great journey and a great experience working with this film Mohenjo Daro. I believe it's going to be one of my best films and I hope the audience will also agree with me when they see the film."

Oscar Winner AR Rahman scored the music of the film.

Pooja Hegde marks her Bollywood debut with ‘Mohenjo Daroo’. She has earlier starred in Tamil superhero film ‘Mugamoodi’, Telugu films ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ and ‘Mukunda’. The film is slated to release on August 12.
