Miss Venezuela Gabriela Isler crowned Miss Universe 2013

After defeating 86 beauties from around the globe, 25-year-old Venezuelan television presenter, Gabriela Isler, was crowned Miss Universe 2013 in a glittering ceremony in Moscow.

The first runner up is Miss Ecuador Constanza Baez and Miss Spain Patricia Yurena Rodriguez has secured the second place. Miss India Manasi Moghe was among the top 10 but unfortunately she could not make to the top five positions.

Well known figures like American singer- songwriter Steven Tyler, Russian-born supermodel Anne Vyalitsyna, simply known as Anne V, American model and actress Carol Alt, chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, Farouk Shami- founder of the hair-care and spa products company, Farouk Systems and retired American figure skater Tara Lipinski judged the 62nd edition of the beauty pageant.

Gabriela is a television presenter but she feels motherhood is the hardest profession in life. She added that she started taking flamenco dancing lessons when she was a child, but says her real training began when her niece was born. Isler after finishing her three years thesis helped her elder sister in bringing up her child and she even considers herself the second mother to the child.

Dressed in silver rhine stone studded gown, last year Miss Universe Olivia Culpo of the United States of America placed the diamond crown on Isler’s head.

After winning the crown, Isler said in a shaky voice, "I have a lot of emotions. I can't describe all the things that I feel at this moment because I'm shaking," she said.

"I'm still in shock. I feel so blessed, so happy to be here."

"It's been a lot of fun and a great success," said Trump, estimating that the television audience was "way over a billion people."

Gabriela Isler smiled and waved to the journalists.
