Mira and Shahid mutually decided Zain’s name

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have named their new bundle of joy, Zain. In an candid-chat with an entertainment portal. Neelima said, "I had a very strong feeling that they will get a son, this time. I had even shared it with them. I kind of saw a son in their arms in one of my dreams." She also revealed that the name Zain was decided at the time of Misha's birth, itself, "Mira and Shahid decided it mutually. At the time of Misha's birth, Zain was decided. It was that it will be Misha if it is a girl (combination of Mira and Sasha) and if it is a boy, it will be Zain. Long back I had shared the name with Zain. I had told Shahid that I love 4 names- Shahid, Ishaan, Zain and Kaamraan."

On naming the baby boy Zain, she said, "I think it is the name that has been running in everybody's mind for a long time but obviously, it was his parents who decided to call him Zain. But this name has been there in the family. I have a nephew with the same name. It is a beautiful name."

When asked if she shopped a lot for her grandchild, she shared, "Yes. Mira calls me up and says, 'Mummy, yeh lekar aana, woh lekar aana'. Kabhi kabhi Shahid bhi bol deta hai phone karke. Main aur Ishaan pahunch jaate hain. And, Misha and I form a great energetic team, we have so much of 'We time' together. Misha is also learning dancing, kathak seekh rahi hai. And after Misha and now Zain, I have so much of love, gratitude and forgiveness in my heart. I feel so good and happy."

Neelima Azeem expressed her joy at the arrival of Junior Kapoor. She shared, "It's wonderful. Shahid and Mira are complete. I am in the best phase of my life. Misha has been the love of my life ever since she was born. And now, Zain joins her. He is a beautiful child. We all have toiled very hard in our lives and now just reaping happiness. God has been kind."

Neelima Azeem shared her ‘on the top of the world’ happiness, "It's been joyous. The family is complete, Shahid and Mira now have a beautiful son and a daughter.. so it feels great. Misha has got a young brother and we have got wonderful grandchildren, so the feeling is difficult to describe in words but I guess, I feel on the top of the world and very grateful. It is very exciting as there is so much to do."

When asked Shahid and Mira’s firstborn, Misha's reaction to having a sibling, the actress added, "It is definitely a sweet and exciting part in her life. Now, she has got a brother and a companion. Misha is basically a very soft and tender child. She is full of energy and fun, there is a lot of sweetness in her. Even when she goes to the beach, she will play with the puppies and babies there.. she is like that with everyone and now it is her own brother. But, of course, it is a little emotional adjustment for all the children so that will happen. But I think her parents are handling that very beautifully. They are balancing the act nicely. All the credit goes to Mira and Shahid."

On Mira's health, she said, "She is a rockstar. Mira is like another level of braveness and coolness. She is strong, very strong, doesn't make a big thing about anything." When further asked if the family had any specific desire for a boy or a girl, Neelima was quoted as saying, "No, No, I think both Shahid and Mira were very open to a girl because they are madly in love with Misha. Given that, they were happy to have a girl also but obviously, now it's balanced out the act. Now, there is a boy and a girl in the house so both the energies are going to run in together. Mira, Shahid, Misha, and Zain are there.. so it is perfect."
