Milind Soman’s 76-yr-old mom runs in a sari, barefoot

Milind Sonam’s mother Usha Sonam who is aged 76 is hitting the headline for all right reasons. Usha Sonam joined her son in the marathon and she was clicked running in a sari and barefoot. She has set an example and became an inspiration for those who feel age is not just a number. She has proved that age is just a number and proved that if you have guts you can achieve the impossible.

'Ironman' Milind Soman, who just completed  'The Great India Run' from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in just eight days was joined by his mother Usha Sonam in the mid-way and the mother-son duo was seen running near Manor in Maharashtra. Captioning the picture, Milind Sonam wrote#Look who joined me- hello, Aai :) #SariNotSorry #UshaSoman #Barefoot #Amdavad2Mumbai #TGIR #mobiefit #Live2Inspire

This isn't Mrs Soman's first marathon; she earlier participated in several 100 km walks. Usha Sonam is really an inspiration for his son and many.

Milind once wrote of his mom’s inspirational journey#We all know that age is just a number, but when this is proved by spectacular example, it is to be celebrated and shared as an event that can change people's lives.

#My mother, Usha Soman, 76years of age, completed the Mumbai Oxfam 100km Trailwalker for the second time. She took 41hrs. We have no choice but to be inspired. Carpe Diem.

This is Milind’s third Ahmedabad to Mumbai run.

"Today, the last few kms to Dahisar Check Naka to officially enter the city of Mumbai and then by car to Gateway for the closing ceremony," he wrote on Instagram about four hours ago.
