‘Mickey Virus’ earns 4.75 crore in the opening weekend

TV host Manisha Paul’s debut film, ‘Mickey Virus’ made a decent opening weekend business of 4.75 at the box-office.  The film was well promoted by Manish in various shows and able to drag audience to the theatres compared to the other three releases of the week, ‘Bull Bulbul Bandook’, ‘Ishk Actually’ and ‘Super Se Upar’.

The break up of the film's collection is as follows, Rs.1.35 crore on Friday, Rs.1.60 crore on Saturday and Rs.1.80 crore on Sunday which sum up to Rs 4.75 in the opening weekend.

‘Mickey Virus’ marks as the debut film of the lead actors, Manish Paul and Elli Avram but both the stars are quite popular among the audience. Manish Paul is a well known TV host. He has hosted many shows on TV while Elli Arvam became an overnight star with Bigg Boss 7.

Well, it is expected that ‘Mickey Virus’ will suffer a huge loss as Hrithik Roshan starrer superhero flick, ‘Krrish 3’ is slated for this week release.
