Meri Pyaari Bindu: Parineeti, Ayushmann embrace love in ‘Khol De Baahein’ song


The makers of Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ have released the video of a new song titled ‘Khol De Baahein’.

It is a feel-good, soothing song in the soft vocals of Monali Thakur and the entire track is overlaid with rhythmic guitar strums and the lyrics opens is a mix of Bengali and Hindi. Rana Mazumder and Kausir Munir have come together to pen the heart-warming song. Sachin-Jigar duo has composed the music.  

The video of the song opens with Ayushmann’s character Abhimanyu expressing amazement at Bindu’s (Parineeti) passion for singing. The madly-in-love Abhi says he has got “trapped” in her passion despite not being a good singer. But like a devoted boyfriend, he supports he to fulfil her singing aspirations. The video shows Abhi and Bindu enjoying fun-filled moments together, but as the song ends, Bindu seems to get melancholic.

Ayushmann and Parineeti have been paired for the first time and their on-screen chemistry is remarkable. Parineeti will be seen in a film after a long time and she has also made her singing debut with the film.

All the songs, along with the five chapter-wise trailers of the movie has created a significant buzz ahead of its release. Directed by Akshay Roy and produced by Maneesh Sharma under Yash Raj Films, ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ is slated to hit screens on May 12.
