Married Vidya open to do bold and kissing scenes
As long as actresses are single or unmarried, they are open to do bold and kissing scenes. They even do not hesitate to do intimate with their co-stars but the scenario changes completely after they get married. Vidya Balan as we know is a bold actress, we have seen her portraying many bold and dare bare act in movies. Vidya has set a new example of rawness and sensuality in movies like ‘Ishqiya’, ‘The Dirty Picture’ which won her many awards but now that she is married a question arises whether she will accept script that demands bold scenes. Well, Vidya stands exception here. She is ready to do bold and kissing scene if a film demands so.
When asked if she would be ok doing bold roles or kissing scenes post marriage, Vidya said, "I am an actor and I am married are two different things. Both of us (Siddharth and I) respect each other and our work."
Vidya Balan has just completed the shooting of ‘Ghanchakkar’ and she said that her marriage won't affect her career.
The comedy directed by Rajkumar Gupta will release on June 21. This is Vidya's first film after marriage. She is paired opposite Emraan Hashmi.
"This film is special in a way as it's releasing after marriage. It was great working with Emraan this time," she said.
The 35-year-old will play a Punjabi housewife in the film.
"My character is loud, boisterous and she feels she knows everything. She wears her heart on her sleeve. It is first time I am attempting something like this," she said.
The actress tied the knot with Siddharth Roy Kapur of UTV in December last year.
This year Vidya Balan won many awards for ‘Kahaani’ where she played a pregnant woman.
