Manoj Kumar sings Om Shanti Om

Veteran actor Manoj Kumar wins the case that he has filed against screening of the blockbuster Om Shanti Om on Sunday in Sony Entertainment channel. The court has ordered to air the film only after deleting the objectionable scene. They further ordered that in future the screening of the film would be done with the new copies. 

Manoj Kumar was really hurt when his duplicate played by Shahrukh was shown beaten by the security guard while entering the theatre without a ticket. Soon after the release, Manoj requested Farah and Shahrukh to delete the scene but they did not pay any heed to the request of the noted actor of Bollywood. 

After winning the OSO screening case, Manoj Kumar now plans to file a defamation suit on Monday. "We will file a defamation case against the Shah Rukh-owned Red Chillies Productions and its director, Gauri Khan, for not keeping with their promise of deleting the scene before its release. The damages we are demanding is merely Re 1. No contemporary actor can match up with Manoj Kumar's caliber," Manoj Kumar's counsel, Ashok Sarogi, said.
