Manisha Koirala speaks about adopting a girl chid & remarriage

After successfully battling and winning over cancer, Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala has returned to films and has signed up a few films. She will be next seen in debutante director Promita Sengupta's ‘Maulali’ which will go on floors by this year-end.

In an interaction with Mumbai Mirror, the ‘1942 - A Love Story’ actress opened up about certain changes she wants to make in her personal life.

Manisha expressed her desire to adopt a girl child. "I am extremely close to my family but they live in Nepal. I feel lonely when I come back to an empty house. There's a need for human bonding, I've wanted to adopt since I was a child,” she told the tabloid.

The actress was married to Nepali businessman Samrat Daha, whom she met through social networking site Facebook. They had a traditional wedding ceremony in Katmandu in 2010, but the couple divorced within two years in 2012.

Manisha revealed that she is open to the idea of getting married again and will think about it if she happens to come across someone nice. But she stressed on the need of a sense of family at present which will come with the adoption.

The actress is gearing up for ‘Maulali’ in which she will play the role of a Bihari-Muslim woman who reunites with her lost son after years. Manisha was all praise for the film and said it has a well-written script with perfect blend of drama, comedy and revenge, and challenges the actress in her.
