Manisha Koirala nervous about first chemotherapy
Manisha Koirala who has undergone a successful ovarian cancer surgery in New York is nervous about her first chemotherapy and asks for prayers and best wishes from close ones. She said that she is nervous but she is ready to face the challenge.
"Today is my first chemo... between being nervous of unknown and courage to face the challenge, I am in a state of prayer and in gratitude of the support I have received from mom, dad, Koi, (sister-in-law) Yulia... though she is far but her love and prayers do touch me," Manisha posted on her Facebook page.
"And so many other loving friends and family... thank you for your love
and prayers. Nothing else is more important than love and care. Thank you...

Manisha was admitted to the Jaslok Hospital on November 28 after she reportedly fell unconscious in her hometown Katmandu. After few initial treatments at Jaslok hospital, the actress flew down to the US for further treatment. She had a successful ovarian operation in US and she is on the road of recovery.
Manisha 42 is a successful Bollywood actress. She worked in super-hits movies like Saudagar, 1942 A Love Story, Bombay, Dil Se, Lajja, Khamoshi.
She underwent surgery in New York on Dec 10, 2012, and was discharged from the hospital after 11 days.
When the actress came to know about her illness, she tweeted, “I have had a beautiful life so far and I know, whatever will happen will all be good. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers…I am writing this as a request – please no sadness, I have told my closest friends and family too. This is part of life”.
Manisha thanked all her fans, relatives, friends for their prayers. She quoted few lines of Rabindranath Tagore’s poem and tweeted, “Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers, but to be fearless in facing them.
