Mallika’s mini dress hurts Tamil's sentiments

Mallika Sherawat, the hot property of Bollywood had risen the temperature of South too. Her revealing dress at Dasavatharam audio launch at Nehru Indoor Stadium on April 25 was considered indecent by the Tamils. She was targeted by the Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK), for exposing her body in mini skirt.

One of the activists, S R Kaniraj claimed that Mallika had hurt the sentiments of the people of Tamil Nadu by wearing a revealing mini skirt, exposing her back and sitting cross legged in front of the Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. The function was attended by Jackie Chan, Amitabh Bachchan, Mammooty, Hema Malini and others.

HMK asked the police to take strict action against her for humiliating the dignitaries by her dress up and behavior. In Dasavatharam, Mallika had done a special pole dance and tried to seduce Kamal Hassan. For this dance form, she did an extensive research and watched videos of a skilled pole dancer.
