Madhuri to dance with Salman at Mulayam’s village
It is official news that the Bollywood hunk Salman Khan and the beautiful Madhuri Dixit is to do live performance at Mulayam Singh Yadav’s village this Wednesday. The village is named Saifai and it is the ancestral village of not only the chief of Samajwadi Party Mulayam Singh Yadav but also that of Uttar Pradesh’s CM Akhilesh Yadav.
Every year at Saifai the function called ‘Saifai Mahotsava’ is organized in the memory of Mulayam Singh Yadav’s late nephew. This fair has slowly developed to be a big attraction and crowd puller for the place and adjoining regions such as Etowah, Firozabad, Manipuri, Sheikhabad and Agra. Bollywood celebrities are regularly hired to perform at the event. The fair is attended by who is who of politics, Bollywood actors, corporate big shots, officials and ministers.
The organizers of ‘Saifai Mahotsava’ tell that Ranveer Singh and Soha Ali Khan will also be present at the fair along with a couple of dozens of small actors. Sajid- Wajid will be playing their hit chart blaster numbers at the event this year. Already charted planes are being booked to bring the VIPs and the star performers at the event. Previous year the super star Hrithik Roshan performed at this event.
Salman is to be on the stage after the completion of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss, season 7’, which he anchored. We wonder what he is getting paid for his performance at Saifai. It is a good break for him from the busy shooting schedules and the ongoing police cases against him. Salman’s next film that is going to release is ‘Jai Ho’. It will be a good chance to promote his film too at such a huge crowd gathering.
Madhuri’s visit at Saifai seems a bit out of the place. This is because her film ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ is releasing this Friday only and it seems she will not be present to promote her film at the big cities or the multiplexes at the final time. Instead she will have to do with whatever small promotion she can manage to do at the fair.
However, applause is due to the organizers of the ‘Saifai Mahotsava’ for making it such a big event in so small time and putting the name of Saifai firmly on the entertainment map. We wish them all the best and hope they continue the good work in future.
