Snapshot: Madhuri returns from Dubai with husband, children
Career women have often had it rough, especially in India. They carry the responsibilities at home and at work. In addition, Indian husbands are notorious for not being very supportive of their wives when they are working outside the home. However, Bollywood icon and celebrity actress, the Dhak dhak girl, Madhuri Dixit have had no trouble in balancing a promising career with a full fledged family life. The actress is currently engaged in a number of projects. However, she was recently photographed along with her mother and husbands Shriram Nene and sons Arin and Raayan in Mumbai airport as she set off for her holiday.
Madhuri is currently working on her dance academy and has recently finished shooting for Gulab Gang and Dedh Ishqiya. She is busy with promoting and endorsing several brands and is scheduled to appear as celebrity judge in the popular dance show, Jhalak dikhla jaa. However, the actress does not find it difficult to juggle her responsibilities.
"More than myself, I make sure I have time for my family and children. Just being with my kids is de-stress sing for me. Just to hear them talk and tell me about their school energies me," said the actress.
When asked how she managed all her personal responsibilities, she said, “Today, I am enjoying all the facets of life, whether it's my work or family. The key is to organise everything in such a way that I don't neglect anything. But having said that, my family is my priority. I work and manage my time around them. It's essential to decide on your priority first and then plan your life around it. At least, that's how I manage to do whatever I do. Of course, I've been lucky to get support from my family, especially my husband, Ram. He makes sure I get time to work and also dedicate enough time to the family.”
“I believe when kids see their mothers working hard, they take up responsibilities at home and are far more well-turned out than other children,” she added.
Madhuri describes herself as a “little strict” as a mother who prefer a “hands-on approach” for bringing up her sons. “Like, I make sure that their home work is done and other such things," she said.
The diva is managing a wonderful balancing act. We wish her every success in her career and family.
