Madhur Bhandarkar casts Amitabh

Amitabh Bachchan is an institution in himself. It is an opportunity for the filmmakers to cast him in their film. In 40 years of his filmy career, Amitabh has acted with many known and unknown filmmakers of Bollywood and now three-times national award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar gets the unique opportunity to cast him in his next project.

"I have written the script and I will show it to him (Amitabh Bachchan) in a few days," Bhandarkar says. This has been declared by Madhur during his felicitation ceremony by Mr Bachchan. At the event, both of them have showered words of praises on each other. Amitabh in Madhur’s appreciation has compared him with legendry Hrishkesh Mukherjee. In reply, the filmmaker says, "It’s a great moment for me. It’s an honor having him call me modern Hrishkesh Mukherjee".

Madhur is presently working on Fashion with Priyanka Chopra and Kangna Ranaut and soon he will work on Big B’s film.
