‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ actress Amita Udgata no more

Popular television actress Amita Udgata passes away due to lung failure. For the last four days, the veteran actress was admitted in the city hospital and was on life support system. She breathed her last on Tuesday night due to lung failure. 

Amita Udgata, who played Dadi Bua on the show ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ is survived by two sons, Ruchin and Rishab. Reportedly, her last rites will be performed on Thursday after her elder son returns from abroad. 

Amita Udgata worked in shows like ‘Maharana Pratap’, ‘Baba Aiso Varr Dhundo’, ‘Doli Armaanon Ki’. Apart from television soaps, Amita Udgata also worked in movies like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's 'Sarbjit' and Parineeti Chopra-Sidharth Malhotra's 'Hasee Toh Phasee'. Her close friend and actress Abha Parmar told India Today, “We were more like sisters than friends. I am from Kanpur and she was from Lucknow. I wasn’t aware that her condition so serious. I was supposed to visit her today. She was a great actress and a friend and we have faced life’s struggles together.”
