Krushna Abhishek lashes out at Kapil Sharma
After Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover who started their own shows, actor Krushna Abhishek is next to pull out of his current show and launch his own show on the small screen. Lashing out at his competitor Kapil Sharma, Krushna said that Kapil can't do acting.
“Kapil is a great stand-up comedian and I am good at doing skits. I
can’t match up to Kapil’s stand-up and he can’t do my kind of acting.
So, there is no comparison. I am very happy for him. He started
something new. I can’t do something like that because I have my films to
focus on,” said Krushna
To look forward to the show, there will be comedian Kiku Sharma, who is seen on t he comedy show, ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ currently. The show will air on Sony Max February onwards, according to information revealed by a source who said, ‘Krushna’s show will feature comedian Kiku Sharda, who is seen in comedy show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’. As of now, and will air on Sony Max starting February.’
Krushna has been seen on various episodes of the comedy show ‘Comedy Circus’ and has done comic roles in films like ‘Hook ya Crook’ and ‘Bol Bachchan’. Comedy seems to be in his blood as he is the nephew of the Bollywood comedy star Govinda. On television, he has also been a part of dance reality shows such as ‘Nach Baliye 3’ and ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4’.
Krushna has not been the first exit of the show. In fact, a lot of people have been opting out lately. With so many people opting out of the show ‘Comedy Circus’, it is only a matter of time before the show wraps up. Already failing TRPs seem to be taking a toll on the show which has been lately drawing flak for its slapstick content. Unless the show undergoes a reformation or gets new talent, the show does not seem to have a long future. Along with Krushna’s decision to quit and start his new show, people are speculating whether Sudesh Lehri will be a part of his new show as it was their comic partnership that hit it off and made him a success in the first place.
Kiku Sharda, who is to join his show, is an actor and comedian on ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’. He plays the characters of Palak and Lachcha and had started his career in the comedy soap, F.I.R as Gulgule.
When Kapil Sharma had first decided to quit a promising career in ‘Comedy Circus’ and start his own venture, people did not have faith in his decision and had, in fact, criticized it. Now, with the massive success of his show, people seem to take a leaf out of his book and follow in his footsteps. Whether everyone succeeds or not, is yet to be seen.
