Kjo confirms Shahrukh’s cameo in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’
Karan Johar last directed his best friend and superstar Shahrukh Khan in ‘My Name Is Khan’ and after seven years, Karan is directing Shahrukh in his upcoming film, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ not for the full movie but for a cameo. King Khan is playing a cameo in Karan Johar’s Diwali release and it is confirmed by the filmmaker himself.
Therefore the speculation whether Shahrukh will or will not be in Karan’s next venture has been confirmed.
At the Toronto International Film Festival, Karan Johar confirmed the news. “Shah Rukh and I have an amazing working rapport. I haven’t directed a film with him in the last seven years, but he did a scene for me recently in a film that is going to release in Diwali and after seven years when I directed him, I realised nothing had changed. He knew exactly what I was expecting of him and I knew exactly what he was going to do,” he said at the event.
Shahrukh Khan’s role in the film was not divulged by Karan but it is highly speculated that Shahrukh will be playing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s husband in the film who dies early. Ash plays a poet in the film.
Slated to release this year with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay, the film also stars Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor in the pivotal role.
