Katrina Kaif's personal anguish continues
Katrina Kaif, super model-turned actress is trying to cope with the fact that her beau, Salman Khan has been recently sentenced to one-year imprisonment for the poaching of a wild life species. Just as she is trying to carry on normally with her life, she has been delivered another blow. Recently, for the shooting of her film, Welcome in Dubai a watch and some cash was stolen from her room.
The theft took place while she was in Dubai shooting for Feroz Nadiadwala’s Welcome. Cash and valuables worth 90,000 dollars was stolen from her room at the Grand Hyatt while she was away shooting. She later launched a complaint with the Dubai police. Katrina explained that after pack-up was announced, she went up to her room and found that it had been ransacked. She enlisted the help of her co-star Akshay Kumar to find her valuables. However, when their search proved unfruitful, they informed the hotel management.
Katrina is deeply anguished and upset by the robbery of her possessions. It is also said that some of the items stolen had sentimental value and were gifted to her by boyfriend, Salman Khan. However, she maintains that her filming schedules are continuing as planned and have not been disrupted. She hopes that the police will manage to nab the culprits.
Hotel management of the Grand Hyatt in Dubai are deeply regretful of the incident, but they are baffled that in spite of tight security around the hotel such an incident which they maintain is the first of it’s kind in the history of the hotel, has occurred. However, they are ever hopeful of finding the culprits, as there are close circuit television cameras along all the corridors.
A few days back Katrina had attended the film premiere of Taxi No. 9211 in Dubai hosted by UTV and Star Middle East Limited at the Al Ghurair Centre. Katrina is currently awaiting her next release, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye starring Akshay Kumar and Bipasha Basu.
