Kareena’s ‘Heroine’ poster is a lift!
Director Madhur Bhandarkar has recently released the first poster of his highly anticipated film ‘Heroine’ starring Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda in the lead but before it could garner applause from the audience, fresh controversy roped ‘Heroine’ first poster.
The poster is very much resemblance to the cover page of Siddharth Dhanvant Sanghvi’s book ‘The Lost Flamingoes of Bombay’ where a model was lying on floor with legs crossed very much alike to Kareena Kapoor. It is not only inspired by one poster but it also resemblance to promotional photograph of Mariah Carey for her album ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’.
The ‘Heroine’ poster shows Kareena lying on the ground with her legs crossed with an empty glass of wine spilled near her. She was seen in dazzling skimpy outfit.
Ever since Madhur Bhandarkar declared ‘Heroine’, it evoked controversy. First Aishwarya Rai was signed for the film and then she was replaced by Kareena Kapoor due to her pregnancy.
Madhur Bhandarkar himself posted the picture on twitter saying, "Presenting
the 1st poster of Heroine to all my well wishers. Hope you like it". Describing her character in ‘Heroine’ as a “bipolar” and
“schizophrenic” personality, Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Heroine’ is all set to hit
the theatre worldwide on September 14.
