Kareena and Bipasha patch up for their film Omkara
Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu have recently worked together in Vishal Bharadwaj’s film Omkara. The film has received rave reviews and all the actors’ performances have been appreciated. The film has Ajay Devgan and Kareena Kapoor playing central characters and even though Bipasha Basu has a small role in the film, her two item songs have been hugely appreciated. However earlier Kareena and Bipasha were said to be having a cold war for the last four years when they were shooting for the film Ajnabee. While shooting for Ajnabee, Kareena and Bipasha had a fight and were not on talking terms. However now that they have worked in the same film, both actresses have decided to forgive and forget the feud.
The old adage that two actresses cannot be friends in bollywood does not hold true anymore. Recently the trend of multi-starrers has made its presence felt and more and more actresses are not only working side by side but also building a warm friendship amongst each other. Similarly Bipasha and Kareena too who were earlier not on talking terms with each other have decided to bury their long standing feud and work with each other. Kareena says “When Vishal met me with his script last year, he’d asked me if I had a problem if Bipasha was in the same project. I assured him that I was absolutely comfortable with it.”
Kareena also claims that actresses should learn to be professional and also stresses that she no longer has a problem with Bipasha. Kareena states “Bipasha is riding high and I’m very happy to see where she is today.” At the same time Bips on her part too has decided to forget the past and says “I’ve always said that from my side there’s never been any problem. For me it’s important to enjoy camaraderie on the sets with everyone. I am a professional and so is she.” As for their fight during the making of Ajnabee, Bips claims “What happened during Ajnabee was so long ago, we were both babies then. I guess we all mature with time.”
Kareena Kapoor will soon be seen gyrating to ‘Yeh Mera Dil Pyaar Ka Deewana’ that yesteryear actress Helen made famous in the remake of Don while Bipasha will soon be seen an Abbas-Mustan film .
