Karan Johar to dance in ‘Koffee with Karan’ music video
Karan Johar who has many feathers on his hat, will now be appearing in the music video of his upcoming chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’. This is going to be the fourth season of ‘Koffee With Karan’.
For the current season of his chat show, Karan will be introducing a music video in the beginning of each show. He has himself danced for a 1.03 minutes video. The music is in English and Karan is seen giving touch competition to Munnis and Shilas in this music video. Dressed in a black three piece suit and a bow tie, he looks a perfect gentleman. He has also reduced quite a lot of weight. He has toned down for an upcoming movie ‘Bombay Velvet’. This movie will mark his full-fledged entry in the Bollywood as an actor. The fourth season of ‘Koffee With Karan’ will be aired from 1st December 2013. The show is aired mainly on Star World India though it also appears on Star Plus and Star One. This chat show is very popular among young audience. On every show, 2 celebrities are called and Karan hosts a chat show with them.
The first season of ‘Koffee With Karan’ was aired in 2004. The first episode casted Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. Within the first few episodes, he called Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherji and Kareena Kapoor on his show.
The second season was aired in 2007. He again invited Kajol, Shahrukh Khan and Rani Mukherji on his show. A number of other known celebrities were also invited.
The third season began on 7th November 2010.
The show is divided into mainly three segments. One is rapid fire where in the celebrity is asked a series of questions and he/she has to either answer in one word or one sentence. The other segment is called lie-o-meter. If Karan feels that the guest has given a wrong answer for his question, he presses a buzzer. In the third segment, Karan shows the guests a video clip where in general public give their opinion about a particular celebrity.
Karan Johar was born on 25th November 1972. His father Yash Johar was a noted film producer and founder of Dharma Productions. Karan’s directorial debut was 1998 released movie ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, which was a landmark in his career. He has also played a small role in ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’.
