Karan Singh Grover kicked out of ‘Qubool Hai’

Karan Singh Grover who is playing the male lead in Zee TV’s popular show, ‘Qubool Hai’ was asked to leave the show for his “unprofessional behaviour”. The 31-year-old actor is not committed to his work and creating problems for others due to his unprofessional attitude.

Karan who essays the role of Asad Ahmed Khan gained popularity with 'Dill Mill Gaye' and reality shows like 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja' and 'Khataron Ke Khiladi'.

"Unprofessional behaviour will always be accorded with strict disciplinary action," said Ajay Bhalwankar, content head, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited.

"Actors should not take things lightly when they agree to be a part of a show as their erratic behaviour can affect the livelihoods of many others who are working on it. No actor can hold shoots or dictate their terms and conditions to an extent that it hampers the show," he added.

Karan's replacement will be announced by the channel soon.

"We have initiated legal action and will announce his replacement soon," Bhalwankar said.

‘Qubool Hai’ revolves around two Muslim families and deals with their emotional ups and downs in their lives. It went on air on Zee TV in October 2012.

"The creative team has had a tough time with him and his nonchalant and indifferent attitude could not be tolerated any longer, so the channel has decided to replace him," said the source.
