Karan Johar salutes women on Women's Day

March 8th is the greatest day for women. People of every age group salute them on this special occasion for their contribution to their homes and society. The journey of a woman from a homemaker to a newsmaker is filled with hurdles but at the end of the day she comes out as a winner. On this special day, Karan Johar speaks about his twelve most favorite women.

The first name that comes to his mind is his mother Hiroo Johar. To him, she is his world. He owes his success to her. After the death of his father, there arose a strong bondage between him and his mother. The eleven other names that follows after his mother, whom he adores a lot and hold in a high esteem are Shahrukh’s wife Gauri Khan, Kajal Anand, Shweta Bachchan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, Farah Khan, Sunita Menon, Natasha Nanda, Rani Mukerjee, Pooja Shetty and Aarti Shetty.

Karan respects and adores them a lot. Those special women made a great difference to his life. They are all special in their own ways. Karan shares a strong relationship with them. He has grown up with some of these women while he came to knew some during his work days. On this special women’s day, Karan salutes women and wishes them all the best in their lives.
