A section of the press went bonkers splashing the news of Karan Johar signing Vivek Oberoi, Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor for his next venture, to be directed by Karan's erstwhile assistant Soham Shah.
Karan has a hearty laugh as this writer confronts him with the development. Is it true? “I wish these journalists would at least verify the facts before writing such rubbish,” Karan sounds agitated, “It's true that Soham is supposed to direct a film for Dharma Productions, but we haven't signed any actor yet.”
He continues, “Soham did broach the idea to Vivek, but it was more of an informal meet. Nothing official about it yet. As for Kareena, we haven't discussed a film for a long time now.” That should silence the gossip mongers!
