Karan brings tears to Amitabh’s eyes
Noted filmmaker Karan Johar has a sharp eye of flawless acting. He never missed an opportunity to appreciate those actors who deliver watertight acting. And one such actor whom Karan respects a lot and grew up watching his films is the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan. After watching Amitabh’s performance in Sarkar Raj, he could not hold himself from complimenting Big B’s stupendous acting talent and out of respect, he touched his feet and at the same time murmured something precious on his ear that touched Amitabh’s heart and moved him into tears.
Amitabh, in his blog mentioned Karan’s gesture, respect and complimentary words, "When he (Karan) came out of the theatre after the premiere he said something that moved me to tears. He bent down and touched my feet and then said, 'I just want to remain here at your feet after seeing your performance. I quickly pulled him up, as I always do and embraced him for long."
Amitabh too praised Karan’s upbringing which shows a clear indication of a cultured rearing that holds a high esteem and respect for the elders.
