‘Kamasutra 3D’director Rupesh Paul sues Sherlyn Chopra
Sherlyn Chopra is again hitting the news for all wrong reasons. After a verbal spat with ‘Kamasutra 3D’ director Rupesh Paul, she has fallen in a legal trap. Kaul filed a defamation case against the actress for tarnishing his image and slapped 5 crore as damage compensation.
When contacted, the filmmaker confirmed this development. “I had to take this step as Sherlyn has crossed all boundaries of decency this time around. No human being should behave this way with another,” he said.
The war between the two all started when Sherlyn Chopra did not turn up for the trailer launch of the film. Rupesh tagged her behaviour as unprofessional and Sherlyn also showered abusive words against the filmmaker on twitter.
Sherlyn claimed that she helped Paul to find producers for his 3D film and it happened due to her popularity and the director did not have funds to shoot the film. In reply, Paul said that he has rescued Chopra from the "filth of porn”.
Rupesh feels Sherlyn's absent for the trailer launch is purely unprofessional. According to Sherlyn Chopra’s tweets: "I shot for KS3D for barely 5 days. I chose to quit the film without creating a ruckus........"
makers of KS3D cannot persuade me 2 promote the film anymore on any platform
whatsoever," she justifies her stand on remaining absent from the trailer
Tweet from Rupesh says: "We'll it's actually a new news for me to know that Sherlyn has quit the movie. As a director, I have shot all the scenes with her for my movie except for few promotional ones. Then I fail to understand when did she quit? Paul and Chopra continue to abuse one another on Twitter, "We'll it's actually a new news for me to know that Sherlyn has quit the movie. As a director, I have shot all the scenes with her for my movie except for few promotional ones. Then I fail to understand when did she quit? "She should not forget that it is Rupesh Paul and Kamasutra 3D who has brought her to the light of cinema from the stinking darkness of porn and filth," Paul said in an equally derogatory statement.
