John to share screen space with Dhoni

Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni will make his Bollywood debut with John Abraham in David Dhwan's massive entertainment 'Hook Ya Crook'. The film will roll in January 2009. The other cast of the film is Uday Chopra and Aditya Pancholi. As expected, Dhoni will be seen in the role of a cricketer. Genelia D'Souza will play the female lead. Dhawan whose last flick 'Partner' turned out to be a huge hit is again coming up with another out and out entertaining product.

Alpana Mishra, COO production, UTV Motion Pictures who is going to produce the film said, "We are all gearing up to hit the floor by January ten. Our first schedule is in Mumbai and later in Hyderabad, where we have just started building a mammoth set. It's a film that will keep the audience hooked from word go."

Meanwhile, director David Dhawan said, "I am very excited about the project. It is a very unique film and a very challenging too. The team on the film has worked very hard all through the year to make it happen. It will be a great way for me to start the New Year."

We have seen Dhoni starred for advertisement but watching him playing cricket on silver screen with Bollywood stars will be a treat in itself.
