John losses weight for Aashayein

Bollywood hunk John Abraham plays every character flawlessly and tries to bring life into each role. John, who has many female fans for his awesome physique burnt a lot of extra calories to suit the character that he is playing in Nagesh Kukunoor’s Aashayein.

The film speaks about the emotional trauma and the hard phase of the protagonist and as the film progresses, he needed to look tired and broken down. To fit into the character, the director asked John to cut his size to some amount and John, who follows a strict exercise regime followed the instruction of the director and lost up to 16 kgs.

However, John could not make to the promotion of the film as he was shooting in Miami but his parents unveiled the film in the presence of media and the cast and crew of the film. Percept picture company, Elahe Hiptoola, Divya Khosla Kumar, Shailendra Singh and director Nagesh Kukunoor were present at the special occasion. Aashayein includes actors like Farida Jalal, Sonal Sehgal, Anahita Nair. Salim Sulaiman composed the music of the film.
