John Abraham in, Akshay Kumar out in ‘Hera Pheri 3’
John Abraham has been roped in for Firoz Nadiadwala’s ‘Hera Pheri 3’. Akshay Kumar who was part of the prequel and the sequel of the film has been ousted from the third installment of the successful series. Firoz has not only signed John in ‘Welcome Back’ but also cast him in ‘Hera Pheri 3’.
In the film, newly married John will be romancing model turned actress Sakshi Chowdhary. Sakshi hails from Dehradhun, Uttarakhand and Firoz has kept the newly introduced beauty under wrap. Sakshi has done few South Indian movies.
Winner of Gladrags 2011, Sakshi featured in Telugu film ‘Potugadu’ with Manoj Manchu.
Said a source: "When Firoz met the young hopeful actress, he was very impressed by her confidence, poise and beauty. Firoz immediately signed Sakshi for a three-film deal. The first of these would be the long-delayed third film in the 'Hera Pheri' franchise, which got stalled after Firoz's fall-out with Akshay.
"John has now taken over the franchise. The leading lady just fell into place when Sakhi walked into Firoz's office."
John and Akshay had a fall out during the filming of Priyadarshan’s ‘Garam Masala’ but they reunited for ‘Desi Boyz’ but the film doomed at the box-office.Firoz Nadidwala as a wedding gift to John has not only signed him for ‘Hera Pheri 3’ but also offered him ‘Awara Paagal Deewana 2’. Interestingly, Akshay had worked in ‘Hera Pheri’ and ‘Hera Pheri 2’, and also ‘Awara Pagal Deewana’.
Vohra confirmed the news, "Yes, it's true, I'm directing Hera Pheri 3, We go on the floors in three-four months. I have also finished the script of Awara Paagal Deewana 2 and given it to Firoz."
Nadiadwala informed that Aneez Bazmee will direct ‘Awara Paagal Deewana 2’.
