Jimmy Shergill replaces Arshad Warsi
What if...Yun Hota To Kya Hota! One question that leaves most people guessing. This time its actor turned director Naseeruddin Shah’s turn to ponder and wonder what if...Yun Hota To Kya Hota. This time with bollywood’s very own ‘waris’ of comedy, Arshad Warsi.
Naseeruddin Shah’s directorial debut 'Yun Hota To Kya Hota' prides itself of a brilliant pack of performers with the likes of Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Boman Irani, Suhasini Mulay, Paresh Rawal and many more.
The film also marks the acting debut of veteran choreographer Saroj Khan and Imaad Shah. But what leaves Naseer guessing ‘Yun Hota To Kya Hota’ is the latest buzz of Jimmy Shergill replacing Arshad Warsi.
Sparing the details, producer Shabbir Boxwala revealed that Arshad’s part was to be shot in the month of November, and since he already had his dates up for another project he could not comply. Instead of making a big issue out of it, both the parties in question, amicably sorted out the matter. Arshad considering the schedule, opted out, and the producer roped in Jimmy Shergill to play the part.
“I am very excited about this film. When Shabbir offered me this part I didn't think twice. It was an instant yes for me as I could not let go of the opportunity to work under the guidance & direction of Naseeruddin Shah,” says an all geared up Jimmy Shergill.
While Jimmy is smiling at his fortune of getting involved in Naseeruddin Shah’s directorial debut, the question still remains, what if...Arshad hota to kya hota!
Bole to...bahut kuch! But looking at the potential of both the actors who have carved a niche for themselves, the question hardly holds any importance. For people always believe all’s well that ends well.
