Jacqueline confirms her film opposite Sushant to be co-produced by Salman
A few months ago, reports surfaced that Jacqueline Fernandez and Sushant Singh Rajput will be pairing up for a project to be co-produced by Salman Khan and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. But when Salman was asked about the project way back in June, he had said, “Sushant Singh Rajput! Why will I make a film with him?”
However, now Jacqueline has confirmed that she is indeed doing a film opposite the ‘Kai Po Che’ actor under Salman Khan Productions, and spoke about the “interesting script” she signed recently.
"It is an interesting script and I will start working on it soon. There will be a lot of action scenes and I am looking forward to it," the actress said. The film is said to be the first instalment of an action series and will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani of 'Dostana' fame. It will be the first time that Jacqueline and Sushant will share screen space.
Jacqueline also revealed that her film ‘Kick’ opposite Salman gave a huge boost to her career. The blockbuster film was produced and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The filmmaker is now planning a sequel to his 1997 comedy ‘Judwaa’ and Jacqueline has been offered a role in it. However, nothing is confirmed yet, the actress clarified.
Jacqueline will be next seen in Remo D’Souza’s superhero flick ‘A Flying Jatt’ opposite Tiger Shroff. She is currently busy with its promotions, besides being a judge on the panel of dance reality show, 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9'.
‘A Flying Jatt’ also stars Kay Kay Menon and Hollywood actor Nathan Jones as the antagonists, besides Gaurav Pandey and Amrita Singh. The movie is set to hit theatres on August 25.
