‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’ is Shahrukh’s best after Swades, Big B
A gala premiere of the legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra’s last film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ was held at Yash Raj studio and Amitabh Bachchan is besotted with the old war charm of the studio and feels that the film is a befitting tribute to the filmmaker whose contribution to the Hindi film industry has been beyond measure. At the same time he feels that ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’ is Shahrukh Khan’s best performance after ‘Swades’.
Who’s who of Bollywood attended the premiere of ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’ that stars Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead. Praising all the leading stars of the movie, Amitabh Bachchan said that ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’ is Shahrukh Khan’s best performance after ‘Swades’.
The megastar who returned from the premiere early morning tweeted. In an early morning tweet, the actor wrote, "Just back from YRF and the premier of the film 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', followed by a party ... And the film... what can one do, or say about it ... each portion poetry, each artist at his and her best, and for Shah Rukh his best performance after 'Swades'."
Bachchan was impressed with the old world charm of the studio.
"... And the film and stand alone ambience heatre built of such period architecture, reflecting the carving original of the columns, and the entire ambience in the style of some old castle in early Europe. It was magical... just the way Yash ji would have wanted."
In the film, Shahrukh Khan plays an army officer, Katrina Kaif his ladylove and a rich daughter of NRI and Anushka Sharma a documentary filmmaker. The film clash with the release of 'Son Of Sardar' starring Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha.
