Its official: ‘Sultan’ set to enter 100 crore club in three days


Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ is fast moving towards 100 crore club. The film released on Thursday on the occasion of Eid has made 40 crore on the opening day and collected Rs 37.2 crore on the second day. Calculating the numbers, we can say that in two days, ‘Sultan’ earns 73.7 crore. It is now official that on the third day, i.e. on Saturday the film will enter into 100 crore club which is marvellous. On Friday evening the film will cross 100 crore.

Trade is speculating that the film will go beyond Rs 150 crore during the first weekend, considering it was five-day long due to Eid on Thursday.

The film released on 4500 screens in India. ‘Sultan’ directed by Ali Abbas Zafar opened well at both single screens and multiplexes.
