Young and handsome Imran Khan refused to do cameo opposite Genelia D’Souza when he was approached by filmmaker Abbas Tyrewala. Imran cited dates problem for the special appearance in John Abraham starrer ‘1-800-Love’. Abbas ardently wanted Imran on the board but when he refused Abbas chopped off the scene as he wanted only Imran to do the role.
Tyrewala admits, "I really wanted Imran for the cameo. I had conceived it especially for him along with Genelia D`Souza as part of an engagement party."
The dates collide with his upcoimg film, 'Delhi Belly'. Confirming the same, Abbas said, "The dates I wanted clashed with Imran`s shooting of ‘Delhi Belly’. I certainly didn`t expect Imran to take chutti from his uncle`s production to be in London. So we scrapped the sequence."
However, who can forget Imran’s sizzling combination with Genelia in ‘Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na’.
