‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ is a romantic cum comedy movie directed by Punit Malhotra. The movie is produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions. The lead cats of the movie are Kareena Kapoor Khan and Imran Khan.
In this movie, Imran Khan is a city lad who gets attracted to a social worker who works in a village for the upliftment of village. Imran Khan is a South Indian boy and is called Sriram Venkat. Kareena Kapoor is portraying the role of Dia Sharma. Apart from these two lead characters, Shraddha Kapoor is also playing a prominent role and her character name is Shabbu Patel. It seems an interesting story will unfold as there are two actresses and one actor in the lead role. A love Triangle? May be yes or may be no. Wait till 22nd to watch ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’.
This movie has nine sound tracks in its album. The songs have a fresh appeal. The songs are composed by duo composers Vishal – Shekhar. A number of singers have rendered their voice for this album. The wedding song ‘Tooh’ has become very popular after its release on 1st November.
Director Punit Malhotra revealed that earlier he wanted this movie to be a two heroes and two heroines project. For that he wanted to cast Saif as well. Punit said, “At one point of time this film was a two hero-two heroine subject. I only went to the boys. It was Saif and Imran. But for some reasons that didn't work out. I then made it into a solo hero film.”
Punit has worked earlier with Imran in ‘I Hate Luv Storys’. It took him a long time after his first movie to come up with ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’. To this, Punit said, “Imran (Khan) made me wait a lot. I took three drafts to him; he had issues with first and second draft. When I went for the third time, he approved the first draft only. That led to the delay but I have no complaints.”
